Monti's has been around far longer than their new address (their location the same, Rio Salado Parkway is new with recent development in the area). Monti's has built a long-standing reputation for outstanding service and attention to detail. They've been cooking up steaks in the valley for nearly 50 years in the historic Hayden House located near the South end of Tempe's Mill Avenue Bridge. Menu includes steak, seafood, chicken, and other dishes.

Monti's LaCasa Vieja is convienent for visitors planning to attend A's, Giants, Cubs, and Angels home field games and they have a complete lunch menu (11-3) in addition to dinner menu (3-10p Sun-Thurs, 3-11 Fri, Sat); a children's menu is available. Food can be eaten in at the historical restaurant or take-out. Monti's offers banquet and catering services, also.

Another restaurant with a rich family history in Arizona. The Serrano family went into the restaurant business in 1979, moving on from the Serrano family's clothing business that had first started in 1919. The menu includes a wide selection of colorful Mexican food dishes.

The McKellips Road location is convenient for visitors planning to attend Cubs, A's, Angels, and Giants home field games (East Valley playing fields) and they have a complete lunch and dinner menu; children's menu is available. The restaurants are open 11a-10p Mon-Sat and 11a-9p Sunday.

Yet another restaurant with local roots but we're guessing you already know "chain restaurant" names and we'd like to introduce you to local restaurants that can help make your visit to Arizona special. A family business dating from 1946, Macayo's Mexican Kitchen continues to provide tasty food in a friendly environment.

The Bell Road location is convenient for visitors attending Padres, Mariners, Royals, Rangers, or Brewers home field games (West Valley playing fields) and there are Macayo locations in Tempe, Scottsdale, Tucson, Mesa, and Phoenix for all the other baseball fans. Macayo has a lunch and dinner menu; children's menu available. The restaurants are open 11a-11p Sun-Thurs and 11a-12a on Fri & Sat.

Chef Gregory Casale opened his World Bistro in 2002 after having owned a small French restaurant in Scottsdale and working 4 years at the five star/diamond Scottsdale Princess Resort.

Gregory's World Bistro is an upscale fine food restaurant and worth a visit from any valley location although Giants, A's, and Angels fans will find the location most convenient.

Serving sushi and Pacific Rim specialties, RA has four locations in the valley (Scottsdale Old Town, Scottsdale North, Tempe, and Ahwatukee. Mon-Thurs 11:30a-10:00p, Fri 11:30a-11:00p, Sat 5:00p-11:00p, Sun 5:00p-10:00p. The Tempe location is convenient for Angels and Giants fans while the Scottsdale Old Town location is convenient for Giants fans. RA is opening a location in Tucson but we're not sure of the date/location.

Arizona's legendary cowboy steakhouse located atop a butte in the foothills of South Mountain. Rustler's Rooste boasts an impressive evening view of the valley along with boasting tales of real cattle rustlers using the location to hide from the sheriff way back when. The dinner menu features steak, barbecue ribs, chicken, and fish. For the adventurous, rattlesnake is also available. Banquet services are available for large groups.
